Job summary

Sisters of Charity of Nazareth is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to install, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, refrigeration, structural, and heating systems. The role involves hands-on work across pumps, boilers, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and associated utilities.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of electrical/plumbing/steam systems, and ability to read diagrams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Good working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, steam, mechanical systems and HVAC.
• EPA Section 608 certification encouraged or required for some roles; driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain pumps, furnaces, boilers and motors.
• Install and maintain electrical circuits, refrigeration equipment and systems, HVAC equipment and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems accurately.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Read diagrams and work orders to perform installations and repairs.
