Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Alaska seeks a general maintenance worker to perform routine upkeep of housing buildings, units and grounds in rural communities. Duties include cleaning, basic repairs, snow removal, and delivery of supplies.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, one year of carpentry/plumbing/electrical experience, a valid Alaska driver’s license, and a 40-hour work week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in general carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License required.
• General carpentry, plumbing tools and housekeeping equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, routine maintenance and cleaning of housing buildings, units and grounds.
• Snow removal and pickup/delivery of supplies and materials.
• Assist with basic repairs and painting as needed.
