Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking an Engineer responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units, plus general maintenance in line with Shaner Hotels standards. This full-time role may involve evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The position focuses on keeping guest comfort and safety as a priority, maintaining building systems, and supporting hotel operations through reliable maintenance support.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hotel maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to interact positively with hotel staff and provide prompt solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
