Job summary

ALTMAN MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safe, functional, and efficient building operations. You will inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related systems to minimize disruptions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with external contractors, maintaining common areas, and optimizing energy use while ensuring a secure environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade schooling in plumbing, carpentry or electrical preferred.
• Minimum two years building maintenance experience including plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, snow removal and painting.
• Manage landscaping and snow removal vendors to ensure a safe exterior environment.
• Maintain common areas to ensure an attractive and safe environment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failure and extend longevity.
• Perform minor repairs to facility structures and appliances.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with building systems and equipment; carry out repairs promptly.
• Minimize disruption to facility operations.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor and adjust building systems to optimize energy efficiency and comfort.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment, and making Hidden Village a great place to live. This role includes performing routine inspections, addressing maintenance issues, and coordinating with external contractors as needed.

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, snow removal and painting
• Manage landscaping and snow removal vendors to ensure an attractive and safe exterior environment
• Maintain common areas to ensure an attractive and safe environment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and ensure longevity
• Manage and perform minor repairs to facility structures, including walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as appliances
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with building systems, machinery, and equipment. Execute repairs promptly to

Requirements
