Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, handyman work, construction, or a related field preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel between properties (typically within 1-2 hours of Raleigh)

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment turns and make-ready work
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
• Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of apartment communities
• Travel between multiple apartment communities throughout the Raleigh area
• Work closely with property managers, fellow maintenance technicians, and outside vendors
