Job summary

Hampton Inn Clayton is seeking a diligent Maintenance Associate to perform routine upkeep of the hotel, including painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and filter changes. You will tend boilers, cooling towers, and air conditioning to ensure guest comfort, while maintaining pool area cleanliness and chemical balance.

Strong English communication, math and computer skills are essential for accurate reporting and timekeeping.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Replace air conditioner filters and maintain HVAC equipment.
• Manage pool area maintenance, chemical balancing and cleaning.
• Provide safe and quality guest service and respond to requests promptly.
• Report information accurately and attend required meetings.
• Adhere to hotel policies and demonstrate professional conduct at all times.

Description

• Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Tend, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
• Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.

Requirements
