Job summary

Sika Corporation is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Technician for our Duluth Building Finishing team. You will participate in the Sika SAFE program, execute work orders and PMs, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment including mixers, piping, valves, pumps, robotics, and HVAC systems.

The role requires 5 years in manufacturing, ability to work overtime and weekends when scheduled, and strong self-direction with clear communication to work independently.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing.
• Proficient in at least two of the following trades: electrical, mechanical, pipe fitting, mill-right, welding or machining.
• Must be flexible & willing to work overtime and be on-call for occasional weekends as scheduled.
• Must be self-directed, have good communication skills, and able to work alone.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the "Sika SAFE" program.
• Execute work orders & PMs; troubleshoot as needed.
• Process equipment includes mixers, piping systems, valves, pumps, instrumentation & controls.
• Packaging equipment includes conveyors, fillers, palletizers, robotics, and material handling.
• Facilities & other equipment includes fork trucks, dock equipment, HVAC, overhead-doors, and plumbing.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area while following standard operating procedures.
