Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Redwood Estates community in Oakdale, PA to maintain homes and grounds and perform basic repairs.

The role requires minimum maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds; candidates should be able to work independently and handle on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work independently.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to Community Manager timely.
• Interact with residents, visitors and staff in a courteous manner.
• Provide lawn and grounds maintenance; plant flowers, trim shrubs, mulch and weed.
• Handle on-call duties and seasonal pre-maintenance tasks.
• Refurbish community-owned homes and maintain water/sewer lines.
