Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You will diagnose and complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, document work orders, and ensure homes are safe and functional for residents.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, renovations, and supporting property readiness while delivering excellent customer service as the on-site field representative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in mobile technology and work order systems.
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades.

• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Support property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checks.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.

The

Maintenance Technician

is responsible for performing repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. This position supports property operations by ensuring homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents. The role contributes to resident satisfaction, asset preservation, and operational efficiency.

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties
• Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems
• Complete and document work orders accurately and promptly using company-issued mobile devices~
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities
• Support property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checks

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Identify and elevate compliance or safety risks as appropriate
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, vendors, and colleagues

Performance Expectations & Key Metrics

Performance will be evaluated based on measurable outcomes aligned with company and departmental goals. Achieve resident net promoter scores of 8 or higher through resident survey platformsMaintain 100% compliance with company safety policies, required certifications, and operational proceduresMaintain inventory, tools, and company equipment in accordance with company standards and audit requirementsComplete all required training and compliance courses by assigned deadlines
