Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep tanning and spa equipment running, ensuring a high-quality guest experience in a well-maintained environment.

You will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inventory tasks while collaborating with salon staff to uphold standards. The role requires early hours, flexibility, and reliable, self-driven performance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
• Able to read schematics is a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised in a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Two weeks of out-of-town training (expenses paid).
• Be at a salon by 7:00am, Monday through Friday.
• Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
• Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
• Available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians.
• Manage daily/weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
• Track and record monthly expense reports.
• Work with Salon staff to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
• Weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
• Work 5 days per week; ~40–45 hours depending on status.
• Work independently when business needs require.

Job Summary

Maintenance techs at Sun Tan City keep our equipment and facilities running in tip top shape to ensure our clients receive a consistent high-quality experience with great results every time they visit, in a well-maintained relaxed and comfortable environment. From repairing & maintaining the tanning and spa equipment to keeping the laundry facilities functioning, our techs are integral to our employee’s and company’s overall success and brand reputation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Position may require two weeks of out-of-town training. (Expenses paid.)
• The Maintenance Technician will be required to be at a salon by 7:00am each morning, Monday thru Friday.
• Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
• Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
• Must be available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians.
• Manage Daily/Weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
• Track and record monthly expense reports.
• Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
• Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
• Ability to work 5 days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
