Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, electrical/mechanical breakdown repairs, and installation or repair of a wide range of equipment. Candidates should have strong hydraulics, electrical and mechanical knowledge and be willing to respond to after-hour callouts.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift and hydraulic mechanic experience.
• Eight years machine operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production equipment in good working order.
• Performs maintenance of the total property and equipment within cost guidelines while maintaining downtime.
• Performs electrical/mechanical breakdowns; replaces or repairs worn or defective parts to meet manufacturer’s specifications.
• Installs, repairs, rebuilds, wires and maintains motors, forklifts, production equipment, transformers, alarms, machines, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic devices.
• Must have knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical for shop equipment and rolling stock.
• Follows instructions and works with moderate supervision.
• Adheres to HSE rules and regulations.
• Performs preventive maintenance of all company equipment.
• Responds to after-hour callouts as required.
• Completes work orders as directed.
• Maintains good working relationships with co-workers.
