Job summary

RenewAire in Madison, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair on production equipment and maintain facilities. You will manage the tool program, coordinate with vendors, and use Hippo CMMS to document work.

This onsite role requires reading engineering drawings and supporting a safety-focused, efficient maintenance team. The successful candidate will have an associate degree in a technical field with 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, knowledge of

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field is required with 3 years’ experience in facilities/plant maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repair on production equipment such as sheet metal fabrication equipment, paint equipment, and highly technical cellular manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing instructions.
• Knowledge of boiler, HVAC, compressed air, compressed gas, fire protection, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance to maximize uptime and complete preventive maintenance work orders.
• Manage the hand tool maintenance program, issue tools, and purchase new tools as needed.
• Maintain facility equipment, systems, and structure including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and safety systems.
• Coordinate facility maintenance with contractors and vendors.
• Utilize blueprints and drawings to troubleshoot facility systems and equipment.
• Maintain a CMMS (Hippo) for maintenance planning and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance shop and strong internal customer relationships.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce lead times and improve safety.
