Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Utility Technician to perform routine maintenance across varied work environments. You will conduct preventative tasks to increase reliability and help avoid major repairs, while adhering to safety rules and quality standards.

You will inspect and repair fleet vehicles and power tools, assist with high-rise cleaning duties when required, and work in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR; forklift certification may be required.
• Completed all safety and task training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Follow posted safety standards and wear PPE when necessary.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles and power tools; replace broken components on production machines.
• Inspect work processes to ensure projects turn out correctly.
• Work in a team and follow supervision; perform assigned tasks.
• Assist with high-rise cleaning duties if required (Boom Lift/Highlift).
• Other duties as assigned.
