Job summary

Country Villa Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. You will perform hands-on maintenance across the center, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety inspections to keep the building safe and comfortable for residents.

The role requires practical problem-solving, attention to safety, and the ability to prioritize daily work orders while following our preventive maintenance program.

Qualifications

  • Routine facility maintenance and repair across the center.
  • Daily rounds to identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards and repair needs.
  • Review, prioritize, and complete daily maintenance work orders in the TELS system.
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in safe working condition.
  • Inspect and maintain nurse call systems and report problems promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine facility maintenance and repair throughout the center.
  • Conduct daily rounds to identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs.
  • Review, prioritize, and complete daily maintenance work orders through the TELS system.
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in safe and proper working condition.
  • Lubricate, clean, adjust, and maintain equipment and functional components as needed.
  • Inspect and maintain nurse call systems and report problems promptly.
