Job summary

Complete Care at Wall is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep the facility safe and well-maintained for residents. The role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and basic electrical/heating/air conditioning tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Director and Administrator.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, the ability to work independently or with a team, and basic computer knowledge; long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Long term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Troubleshoot building mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations.
• Work with electrical systems, HVAC and related components.
• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator.
