National Car Rental is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Encino, CA team. You will inspect and service fleet vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and repair tires and worn parts while maintaining accurate repair histories. A strong emphasis on safety and customer-ready vehicles is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma / G.E.D. preferred.
• Basic PC and MS Office knowledge required.
• Must have a valid California Driver License.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and handle tools and parts.

Responsabilités

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections including tires, brakes, and fluids.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations per policy.
• Repair and replace tires and worn parts as needed.
• Maintain vehicle repair history with Repair Orders.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with company standards.

The Maintenance Technician performs car repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. • This position pays $20.25/hour with increased pay per ASE certification**
• This position is full time and apart from religious observances requires you to be available 40 hours/week between Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (and some Saturdays - schedule is subject to change).**

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines
• Repair and replace tires
• Replacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
• May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs
• Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
• Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma / G.E.D. preferred.
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have the ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of tools, equipment and materials; and balance, stoop, kneel and crouch (medium duty labor).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be able to work Full Time (40 hours per week) and accommodate a flexible schedule which includes weekends, nights, and some holidays (depending on business demand). Apart from religious observances, must be able to work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
• This position requires a valid California Driver License
• Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities OR must have graduated from Mechanic trade school OR show proof of current enrollment in courses taken towards Mechanic Trade School Certification
