Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson, Brookhaven, MS, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support its dry ice and carbon dioxide operations. You will help achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety across the manufacturing and distribution network.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma or technical certification and at least 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Robotics and ammonia refrigeration experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2-year technical degree; related certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulics, mechanics, electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Robotics experience and ammonia refrigeration system experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, screw compressors, and electrical systems.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and robotics tasks as needed.
• Follow all policies and safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.

JOB TITLE - Maintenance Technician salary range $21.00 to $32.00 per hour. Nippon Sanso Matheson specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Nippon Sanso Matheson maintains a reliable network of dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Nippon Sanso Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs. Nippon Sanso Matheson is looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety. Starting Wage: /hour depending on experience. A Maintenance Exam will be administered to determine level of pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma: 2-year technical degree or any other related certifications or training is a plus

Work Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience within manufacturing environment (preferably within extrusions or compressions environments with hydraulic/pneumatic equipment)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics, electrical systems and troubleshooting PLC's
• Experience with robotics a plus
• Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems a plus
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in tight spaces in and around machinery.
