Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site work at the Data Center facility in Abernathy, TX. The role follows a 6am–6pm dayshift and focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and supporting building system operations.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, review work orders, and ensure energy efficiency and compliance with safety codes. This position requires hands-on work on-site at the TX data center.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. This is a dayshift position that works from 6am-6pm and requires on-site presence at the Data Center facility based in Abernathy, TX.
