Job summary

Sika is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the Gastonia, NC facility to perform preventative maintenance, repair electrical and mechanical systems, and support production uptime.

You will dismantle and repair machinery, weld and fabricate as needed, troubleshoot control circuits, and implement improvements to PLC-based systems. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Two years maintaining manufacturing equipment or similar facility Machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime.
• Dismantle, repair and adjust machines; replace parts and belts as needed.
• Weld, fabricate, and assemble components for workstations and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and PLC-based controls in production lines.
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as required.
• Support and improve equipment safety and efficiency through upgrades.
