Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing maintenance tasks related to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance of the property, including inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of apartment units and other areas.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and record findings in the maintenance log.
  • Provide on-call emergency services as required.
  • Assist in maintaining grounds, keeping them free of trash and debris.
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment such as water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning equipment like transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures; replace damaged wires and cables.
  • Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on property maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, bend, climb, and balance on ladders for extended periods.
  • EPA or CFC certification.
