Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Maintenance Tech to oversee preventive maintenance, repair and start-up/shut-down of commissary equipment in a food manufacturing setting. You will follow safety policies, LOTO procedures and GMP standards to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, creating maintenance schedules, inspecting drives, motors, belts, fluids and filters, organizing parts, and communicating with site teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• AAS or similar technical degree preferred.
• Certifications like CMRP or CPMM preferred.
• OSHA safety certification or other relevant training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Uphold a safe working environment in compliance with USDA regulations and corporate safety standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical procedures.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
