Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Liberty, MO to support manufacturing and facility operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and quality, while adhering to company standards and procedures. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance technician or millwright experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Intermediate math and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine repair methods and parts.
• Repair machinery, equipment, and production systems in a timely manner.
• Test repaired equipment to verify functionality.
• Perform facility maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting).
• Support occasional janitorial and facility upkeep tasks as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to increase reliability.
