Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when operating a vehicle.
  • Computer literacy and clear English communication.
  • Willingness to work weekends and on-call with after-hours contact.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual duties.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Promptly addressing resident service requests
  • Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and other repairs
  • Preparing market-ready apartments and maintaining community grounds
  • Conducting regular community inspections to identify repairs or replacements
What You'll Need To Thrive
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), interior repairs and painting
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a motorized vehicle during workday
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills; ability to communicate clearly in English for work-related purposes
  • Ability to work any assigned shift, including weekends; shifts may change according to business needs. Must be able to respond to emergencies after normal hours and on weekends when on-call. A contact number for after-hours is required
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and other manual duties
  • Use of personal smartphone to perform job-related tasks may be required; device must have updated software and be password-protected
Salary

Salary: $21.89 - $26.75 per hour
