Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to repair and maintain tanks, platforms, purge pipes and related carpentry/plumbing components.

The role requires forklift certification and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with supplemental training, can read and write English, and possesses strong math skills. You will handle tools ranging from acetylene torches to nail guns, and you must be able to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator required.
• High school graduate with additional training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English required.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions needed for job tasks.
• Must have the ability to follow directions and complete tasks as instructed by management.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains tanks, platforms, purge pipes and other carpentry/plumbing duties.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Completes partial/full teardowns and rebuilds of platforms.
• Prefabricates components for platforms and structures as needed.
• Proficient in use of carpentry and plumbing tools (table saw, band saw, drill, nail gun, hammer).
• Operates forklift and maintains safety and clean work areas.
• Works in various positions and lifts up to 50 pounds.
