Job summary

CWT Farms in Pikeville, TN is seeking maintenance personnel to manage the general maintenance program, ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with regulatory standards. The role partners with management to maintain a safe work environment.

You will perform basic mechanical repairs, work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and various systems, and use a range of tools to keep farm buildings and equipment operational. Strong teamwork and ability to read instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, HVAC
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow task specific instructions, such as lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Must have own tools including a basic socket set, wrenches, skill saw, grinder, drill, sawzall, volt meter, level, and tape measure
• Must be a team player with strong verbal skills and a positive attitude
• Must be able to use basic hand tools

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs in buildings including plumbing, lighting, heating, and air conditioning
• Check, install, and repair equipment such as chain feed systems, line auger feed systems, Rotem controllers, watering systems, ventilation systems, generators, wells, and septic systems
• Repair wooden structures
• Work with chicken wire
• Replace electrical and plumbing fixtures
• Cut Plexiglas to fit aluminum frames
• Routine maintenance on buildings
• Greasing equipment
• Checking equipment operation and repairing if needed
• Working with PVC waterline and fittings
• Installing Cat6 wiring
