Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Orchards at Cherry Creek Park Apartments in Centennial, CO. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks to keep the property in top condition and ensure resident satisfaction.

Candidate must have strong English communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and after-hours emergencies with the Service Manager's support. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers and interpret manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for long periods.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems and performing general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications & Required Experience of an Apartment Maintenance Technician

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
