Job summary
Entegris, Inc. in Chaska, MN seeks a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to perform maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. The role focuses on uptime, preventive maintenance, safety, and process improvements while gaining hands-on experience through coursework.
Hours are first shift, Monday–Friday, with flexibility for coursework and potential transition to 2nd/3rd shift after the apprenticeship finishes.
Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or CAD or equivalent; proficient with Word and Excel.
- Hands-on electrical experience and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, replaces and tests electrical circuits on equipment.
- Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
- Mounts motors and completes circuits per diagrams.
- Supports controls and automation maintenance; troubleshoots PLC/HMI issues.
- Uses the computerized work order system and documents work thoroughly.
