Job summary

Park7 Management is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for our luxury student housing in Tampa, FL. You will handle work orders, perform repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, and keep units in good condition.

Role includes on-call duties to address emergencies and support turnover work with residents in mind. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, valid driver’s license, strong problem-solving skills, and the stamina to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Appliance repair and carpentry skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• HVAC EPA certification preferred; CPO license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair 1- to 5-bedroom apartment units.
• Ensure property and facilities are in good condition, grounds kept, trash removed.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to satisfy residents.
• Assist with unit turnovers, minor repairs, touch-up painting, and moving furniture.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general appliance repairs as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our luxury student housing community in Tampa, Florida. This role is essential inmaintainingthe quality and integrity of our properties, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will handle work orders,maintainthe grounds, and be part of an on-call rotation to address 24-hour emergencies.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Skills in appliance repair and carpentry.
• Effective communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EPA-certified HVAC certification is preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, andlifting upto 50 pounds.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and repair a variety of apartment units, ranging from 1- to 5-bedroom layouts.
• Ensure the physical integrity of the propertyand facilities, includinggroundsupkeep and daily trash removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, aiming for high resident satisfaction.
• Assistwith unit turnovers, including minor repairs, touch-up painting, and furniture moving.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to handle after-hours emergencies.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general appliance repairs as needed.
• Performadditionaltasks asassigned by management.

The pay range for this role is:
