Job summary

ARLANXEO USA LLC. is seeking Maintenance Technicians and a Maintenance Technician Trainee for our Orange, Texas site. The role involves maintaining mechanical facilities, performing repairs, and supporting process safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Successful candidates may be hired directly or through a contractor in the Technician Trainee program to fill future operating technician vacancies. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and documentation in SAP CMMS is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or certificate in Maintenance or Industrial Technology; 1 year of relevant experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Experience in industrial maintenance: pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Pipefitting, repair and welding experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery including mixers, extruders, conveyors, pumps and motors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, align, and test equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems for reliable operation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in SAP CMMS.

ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available at our Orange, TX manufacturing site.

Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Technician Trainee

Successful candidates needed will be hired directly by ARLANXEO. The remaining successful candidates needed will be hired by a contractor in the Technician Trainee program, which will be used to fill future ARLANXEO Operating Technician vacancies as business and personal performance necessitates.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform maintenance of all mechanical facilities at the site including: equipment repair and alignment, pipe repair, installations and fabrications, equipment preventative and predictive maintenance, and Process Safety Risk Management maintenance programs.

Duties include, not limited to:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, extruders, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, align, and test equipment and machinery as required.
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure consistent operation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in SAP (CMMS, Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures and standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support emergency repairs and respond to breakdowns promptly

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or certificate from an accredited school in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or related field and 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing facility.
• 3 years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
• Experience is required in an industrial maintenance environment in the repair and maintenance of various forms of equipment including pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Experience in pipefitting, repair and welding is desired.
