We have an opening for a Maintenance Technician position working at a company in Trinity, AL that specializes in processing and precision slitting of flat-rolled carbon and alloy steel products. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

Skills/Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have practical electrical experience, including working with wiring and components.
- Must be proficient in utilizing hand/power tools, as well as industrial maintenance diagnostic equipment.
- Must have a command of the English language and good verbal and written skills.
- Must be tolerant of loud noise from machinery and equipment operation.
- Must be immune to the presence of dust, debris, and airborne particles typical of an industrial setting.
- Must be able to also meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet on a concrete floor for the entire shift.
- Must also be able to effectively communicate with others and work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with extreme hot/cold temperatures.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on equipment as per established schedules, spanning weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual intervals.
- Continuously enhance proficiency in troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to swiftly resolve issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Demonstrate adeptness in operating all workshop equipment with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Exposure to moving machinery, heavy equipment, and sharp objects.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with the manufacturing process.
- Follow attendance policies detailed in the Employee Handbook.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
