Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot electrical issues, perform preventive and repair maintenance on production equipment and utilities, and support the preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime.

You will install, repair, and overhaul equipment, record work orders, respond to maintenance calls on the production floor, and ensure safe handling of chemicals while maintaining sanitation and housekeeping standards.

• Must have solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical issue and equipment breakdowns
• Effectively support the PM program while keeping downtime to a minimum
• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredient handling systems and plumbing systems
• Start machines and equipment to test operation flowing repair
• Record preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner
• Complete work orders and respond to maintenance calls on the production floor in a timely manner to prevent downtime
• Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production equipment.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits and PLC.
• Troubleshoot and identify worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators and other equipment.
• Safe handling and use of various chemicals with strict adherence to hazardous communication and requirements.
