This role is hands-on and service-oriented, supporting daily work orders, property upkeep, and resident needs while helping prevent minor issues from becoming major repairs. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and serves as a key contributor to resident satisfaction and community safety.**Work Arrangement*** **Location:** Onsite | Cadence at Crown | Gaithersburg, MD* **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM* **On-Call:** Required on a scheduled basis, including occasional weekends or holidays**Key Responsibilities*** Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC-related work* Respond to work orders promptly and proactively identify maintenance issues to prevent escalation* Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities such as pools and clubhouses* Interact professionally and courteously with residents in their homes and throughout the community* Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working and living environment* Assist with general property upkeep and support team members as needed**Career Path & Next Role Readiness**The Maintenance Technician role is intentionally designed as a pathway to the Lead Maintenance Technician role.
