Job summary

Avient in West Chicago, IL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our plant equipment running reliably. You will perform maintenance tasks across multiple crafts, repair and inspect machinery, and work to minimize downtime while supporting plant goals.

We offer competitive compensation from $27.85 to $41.78 per hour, a bonus plan, day-one medical benefits, vacation and PTO, 401(k) with company match, and a strong safety culture. Weekend/night schedule may apply.

What is the job

As a Maintenance Technician with Avient, you are responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible; while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plant goals. To be successful in this role you should be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.
