Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Production Set-up Mechanic on 3rd shift in New Hampshire. You will set up and calibrate high-volume filling and packaging equipment, repair routine issues, and document activities in Cal PM while communicating line performance at daily huddles.

As a Production Set-up Mechanic - 3rd shift, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety or routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas:

• Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations.
• Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application.
• Communicating line performance at daily huddles.

Required education, skills and experience to have success in this role:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience include:

• Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment
• Experience with computers, including office applications
• 1-3 years' experience setting up, maintaining and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Dismantles, repairs, assembles, installs and sets up mechanic equipment and mechanic parts of production machines used in a production site.
• Plans and executes assigned maintenance projects.
• Analyzes technical problems on site, and completes repairs and work orders, with specific reference to mechanic systems.
• Executes ramp up, set up and start procedures in order to prepare machines and equipment for operations.
• Contributes to installation projects on site, and support accountable Industrial Engineers.
• Supports maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment.
• May advise junior staff technically.

The base pay range for this position is:

$54,970 - $75,581

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
