Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment in our Richmond, VA area plant.

This role emphasizes safety and productive maintenance processes to keep operations running smoothly. We offer consistent night shifts, a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance from day one, major medical, vision, life and disability coverages, plus a 401k with company

Qualifications

• Must pass Client guidelines (yearly) to enter the plant daily.
• Good driving record in good standing.
• Ability to pass yearly DOT Physicals.
• Willingness to learn and follow SOPs.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and independently at times.
• Paying attention to detail and having high quality standards.
• Good understanding and use of hand tools, air tools, hoists, etc.
• Organizational skills.
• 6 months of 24ft Box Truck driving experience within last 3 years.
• Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction and repair work is a plus.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
