Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a multi-skill maintenance technician for an industrial manufacturing environment in California. You will ensure equipment safety and efficiency by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.

The role requires high school diploma, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC experience, welding, forklift operation, and ability to read diagrams. Strong electrical/motor knowledge and readiness to lift up to 40 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing as a multi-skill technician.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, drives, circuits, hydraulics, and robotics.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams; PLC experience, welding, and forklift skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and communicate effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain plant effectiveness with focus on machine upkeep.
• Respond to downtime by troubleshooting and reading diagrams.
• Plan and execute maintenance for non-routine issues to keep machines running.
• Design, fabricate, and install mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Weld and fabricate, build parts for replacement or repair worn parts.
• Wire and repair electric motors using schematics.
• Maintain housekeeping of shop and areas where maintenance occurs.
• Perform lockout and tagout as required.
• Assume other duties as needed.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This multi-craft maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain plant effectiveness, focusing on machine maintenance and performance upkeep
• Respond to all unplanned downtime or breakdowns on machines by troubleshooting and reading diagrams
• Plan and execute maintenance activities for non-routine problems or issues to maintain machines
• Design, fabricate, and install mechanical and electronic equipment
• Weld and fabricate, build parts for replacement or repair worn parts as needed
• Wire and repair electric motors using schematics
• Perform housekeeping of shop and areas where maintenance activities were performed
• Perform lockout and tagout as required
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance as a multi-skill technician
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, drives, circuits, hydraulics, power transmission, and robotics
• Must have the ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams
• PLC experience, welding skills, and forklift experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft and computer applications
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $26-$36/hr
