Allison Transmission in Lewisburg, TN seeks a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to perform preventative and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and fabricate parts. Located at a major manufacturing campus, the role requires teamwork, safety focus, and strong mechanical aptitude.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a tech or trade school certification, and the ability to read CAD drawings and operate CMMS software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be certified from a tech or trade school.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Housekeeping.
• Performs assigned preventative maintenance.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Troubleshoots, repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools and makes required parts when necessary.
• Maintenance Connection or equivalent computerized maintenance management system experience is a plus.
• Monitor safety aspects and awareness, including walk-throughs, audits and submission of safety related work orders.
• Demonstrates a strong desire to advance within the facility.
• Shows understanding of electrical and mechanical processes and principles.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and databases.
• Basic understanding of programming with Allen Bradley and Control Techniques.
• Ability to understand Auto CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and input Purchase Orders.
• Fabricate machine parts from drawings for equipment builds.
• Work in a team environment.
• Must have project management skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Job Description

• Housekeeping.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate with outside vendors including input of Purchase Orders.


• Demonstrated ability to fabricate machine parts from drawings for equipment builds.


• Ability to work in a team environment.


• Must have project management skills.


• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.


• A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.


• Other duties as required.


• Must be able to work overtime.


• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Must be certified from a tech or trade school.


• 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.


• Ability to use hand tools.

• Must be able to pass powered lift equipment testing.
