Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Plant 2

Job Summary

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines to ensure smooth and efficient production. Provides own tools.

Responsibilities
  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.
  • Examine parts for imperfections and measure for dimensional accuracy.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and install new components.
  • Lubricate and clean parts, and conduct performance tests.
  • Operate metalworking tools to repair or make parts.
  • Order parts and equipment as needed.
  • Repair electrical equipment and install new machinery.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, and using tools. Good communication and math skills, and willingness to attend training sessions.
