Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting motors and conveyors, and collaboration with teams. The position requires a high school diploma, technical training, and 2–3 years’ manufacturing maintenance experience. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems efficiently and perform effective repairs.
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with teams; willing to work overtime.

• Control downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance and compliance.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and instrumentation.
• Provide maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting actions and needs.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures.
• Perform maintenance in manufacturing environments with emphasis on mechanical and electrical repair.
• Troubleshoot/repair and wiring of 3 phase motors; pneumatics experience helpful.
• Work with HMI and PLC controls.

Pay:

• Pay for this position starts at $29/hr.
• $3.00 shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shifts
• Pay is determined by level of skill and experience.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

• Ensureoperation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and General Electric
• Locates sources of problems byobservingmechanical devices in operation; listeningforproblems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques;monitoringcompliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintainssafeand clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort byaccomplishingrelated results as needed
• Must be able to perform maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on mechanical and electrical repair.
• Experience troubleshooting/repairing and wiring 3 phase motors
• Experience with pneumatics
• Experience troubleshooting/repairing and replacing VFD’s (notrequiredbut a plus!)
• Working with HMI and PLC controls

Qualifications and Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.

Proven experience, 2 – 3 years, as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems efficiently and perform effective repairs.

Proficientin reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
