Job Details

Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: Spring Hill, TN

Shift: 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:30am, 10-hour days, 5-6 days/week)

Starting Pay: $38.94/hr (plus $1/hr shift differential)

After 3 months: $40.32/hr

After 12 months: $41.76/hr

Sign-on Bonus: $2,500

Industry: Automotive manufacturing, plastics assembly, bonding, JIT/JIS

Status of Hire: Full-time, direct hire

Objective

Ensure all assembly and bonding lines, including auxiliary equipment, are maintained in a functional and safe condition through predictive, preventive, and curative maintenance.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and perform preventive maintenance on automated machinery, robotic systems, and utilities.
2. Efficiently repair auxiliaries during downtime and address critical issues with PLCs, HMIs, and Fanuc robots.
3. Reduce machinery downtime, focusing on automated equipment, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
4. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
5. Maintain and update maintenance documentation.
6. Manage spare parts inventory for assembly lines.
7. Support Level 1 and Level 2 maintenance training.
8. Maintain tidiness of the work area (5S).
9. Adhere to HSE requirements.

Requirements

1. High school diploma/GED; Technical Associates degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred.
2. Strong PLC, robotics, HMI skills; experience with automated assembly, bonding, or plastics welding is a plus.
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience maintaining Tier I automotive JIT/JIS equipment.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
5. Dedication to safety.
6. Authorized to work in the US; able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
