A little about the position

Job Summary

Inspect all details of products manufactured verifying that they conform to guidelines and specifications. Ensure the accuracy and thoroughness of work performed and follow all established guidelines. Document all findings and work with Lead inspector and Shift supervisor to communicate non‑conformance and identify resolution.

Some of What You Will Do

• Overall responsibility for the readiness of the equipment and machines, plus all buildings and grounds concerns.
• Stock and store replacement and consumable machine parts.
• Assisting / performing Preventative Maintenance duties and troubleshooting, and repairs of breakdowns as needed.
• Assist other technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing plant concerns.
• Lead / coach / train maintenance department personnel when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems – both routine and complex – using a defined method to get to root cause.
• Maintain equipment records.
• Individual should have a mechanical aptitude.
• Must know how to properly operate and maintain tools to always keep them in safe working order.
• Ensure compliance with all LOTO procedures.
• Other tasks as may be assigned.
• Communication skills required.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and nights.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to safely use a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Familiar with personal computers.
• Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
• The ability to work in a team environment including being self‑motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating proactively in all team events.

Position Details

Position Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift 3 pm‑11:30 pm

Location: Plainfield, Indiana – On‑site work only

Employment Type: On‑site

Status: Full‑time

Salary Range: $28.59 – 30.56 (H80‑H90) Plus $1.00 shift differential

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
