Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair plant production equipment. You will join a team and have room for growth within OBE.

Ideal candidates understand electrical and mechanical schematics, have welding experience, and know Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and control wiring; 24VDC is a plus. OBE offers industry-competitive benefits, PTO/holidays, performance-based pay, and training to help you succeed.

Qualifications

This role involves working with a team to maintain and repair plant production equipment. The position offers a starting point for growth within OBE.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely move objects such as motors, pumps, welding equipment, etc. from one position in the plant to another to maintain and repair production equipment.
• Work with production to ensure timely repair of equipment and machinery.
• Safely perform tasks while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to understand and work from electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Welding experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Variable Frequency Drivers (VFDs) and control circuit wiring; 24VDC is a plus.
• Good working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment/systems.
