Job summary

Jabil is hiring for a facilities maintenance role on the second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). The team maintains HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective work, troubleshoot equipment, and support facility projects with safety and compliance in mind. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of maintenance experience, and relevant technical training or certifications.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and support repairs, installations, and facility projects.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and ensure safety compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for facility operations.

Shift

Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Second Shift)

Join our Facilities team supporting the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems within a manufacturing environment. This role is primarily focused on facility maintenance and infrastructure reliability, with occasional support provided to production equipment as needed.

How will you make an impact?

You will help maintain a safe, functional, and efficient manufacturing facility by ensuring building systems and infrastructure are operating reliably. Through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities, you will support uninterrupted operations and a safe working environment for employees.

What will you do?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, lighting, and building infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related equipment and utilities to minimize operational disruptions.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and support building repairs, installations, and facility improvement projects.
• Monitor facility equipment performance and document maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to facility operations and reliability.
• Provide occasional maintenance and troubleshooting support for manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Partner with Facilities, Production, Engineering, and EHS teams to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

How will you get here?

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, certification, or vocational training preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or facilities environment.
• Experience maintaining building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work second shift and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Facilities Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, HVAC, or a related field.
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities or industrial environments.
• Universal EPA Certification, electrical license, or other relevant trade certifications preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
