Job summary

MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician in Wisconsin. The technician will ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are current, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs and preventive maintenance.

Compensation is $35.00 hourly with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and a 401(k). This role requires physical work and multi-shift responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on equipment.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S in the production area.
• Maintain and repair the facility as needed.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

MCC is looking for a Maintenance Tech/Electrician. The main duties of the Technician are to ensure that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshooting during unscheduled equipment downtime, repairs and complete preventive maintenance service.

Responsibilities:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment
• Performs duties including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Responsible for maintaining and performing repairs to the facility
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications
• The ability to read electrical schematics and vocational maintenance training certificate preferred
• Requires basic knowledge of computers and operating systems
• Must have ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed
• Requires strong problem solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications
• Requires physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended time frames
• Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed
• This position requires frequent walking.
