Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to meet physical requirements: outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders up to 100 feet, and PPE.
• Experience with rotating and fixed equipment is a plus.
• Fertilizer/chemical/heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, and piping systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance activities and improve equipment performance.
• Identify hazards, follow safe work practices, and take action to prevent incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce costs, and enhance maintenance processes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
