Job summary

Hayes-Gibson-Property-Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 for full-time on-site work at our Missouri properties. The role involves hands-on maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems to ensure safe, comfortable residences.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive tasks, and respond to resident requests with professionalism, contributing to positive resident relations and retention. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Attention to detail and thorough execution of duties.
• Customer-focused with prompt, professional maintenance responses.
• Prior maintenance or related field experience preferred.

Principal Objective of Position

The Maintenance Technician 2 repairs and maintains all mechanical, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, structural facilities and grounds of the property. The Maintenance Technician 2 works towards the common goals of satisfactory cash flow, positive resident relations and optimal resident retention.

We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time and ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Repair & Maintain: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property buildings and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
• Troubleshoot & Fix: Respond promptly to work orders, diagnose issues, and complete necessary repairs to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Inspect & Report: Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with flexibility. On-call as needed to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
