Job summary

Opella is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of packaging equipment on the 1st shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a cGMP environment and support equipment changeovers.

The role requires 4 years of experience with automated controls, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to improve line efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years' experience with automated controls and electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Willing to work on-site and follow cGMP and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Assist packaging personnel in changeover and operation of packaging equipment.
• Assist Engineering in implementation of projects and continuous improvement objectives.
• Facilitate setup and adjustment of equipment for different product sizes per setup sheets.
• Diagnose line performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Dismantle or partially dismantle equipment and replace parts to return to operation.
• Prepare written specifications for major repair parts and suggest improvements for operation and changeover.
