Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear in Arlington, TX is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. The role supports a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with emphasis on reliability and safety in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, preventive maintenance, CMMS work orders, parts inventory, and downtime reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with single-phase and 3-phase wiring, including 110V, 220V, and 480V
• Safe use of industrial power tools and basic measuring tools
• Basic math, communication, and English reading/writing skills
• Ability to handle heavy parts and equipment, stand for the full shift, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Reliable, accurate, and able to work well with others

• Track downtime, prepare basic reports, and use Excel and maintenance software effectively
• Support other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned

In this on-site role in Arlington, Texas, you will perform maintenance and repairs to industrial equipment throughout the plant. For 75 years, this location has produced sprockets, gears, and other core products that drive customers' machinery, worldwide. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, our team helps keep industries moving by manufacturing the products our customers depend on every day.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
