Job summary

TAG Manufacturing Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Tech to support the maintenance team and minimize downtime. You will perform preventative maintenance, install and test components, and help keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

You will work with hand and power tools, read equipment manuals, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in mechanical and manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and follow maintenance guidance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections following maintenance team guidance.
• Install, assemble, perform small repairs and tests on products or equipment as shown.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools used for restocking.
• Complete written record of work performed onsite.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; comply with TAG policies and safety protocols.

This is skilled labor in the maintenance department to focus on task fulfillment assigned by maintenance team.
