Job summary

Lifespace Communities is hiring for a Maintenance position at Wesley Court in Abilene, Texas. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of building maintenance or construction experience, plus the ability to operate or repair equipment with proper certification as required by regulations.

A state driver’s license with clean record is also required. The Pay Range is $19.42-$26.74+ hourly.

Qualifications

• Certification, license or equivalent to operate/repair certain equipment as required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance. Identify deficiencies and follow procedure for correcting problems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition; notify supervisors to ensure replacements are available.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs.
• Complete work within scheduled time frame, according to budget and priority set by supervisor.
• Install, finish, repair, paint, remove and dispose of drywall or other material.
• Pick up and deliver supplies.
• Operate maintenance equipment including hand/power tools, company vehicles, or snow blowers.

• Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment.
• A state issued driver's license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.
